Hosted at the renowned Dr. Ambedkar International Center in Delhi, this extraordinary event brought together industry leaders, experts, and visionaries to delve into the dynamic landscape of supply chain management.


The summit emphasized the importance of adaptability, sustainability, and technological advancements in supply chains, while showcasing the Indian government's commitment to developing robust logistics infrastructure.

The Significance of Agility and Innovation: The summit underscored the pivotal role of agility and innovation in the fast-paced realm of supply chain management. Prominent companies such as Cummins, Sleepwell, Canon, JSW, and Bombay Shaving Company shared their valuable experiences, shedding light on the challenges and opportunities within supply chain operations.

Cummins, for instance, highlighted their collaboration with Tata for the development of new engines, utilizing cutting-edge technologies to improve air quality and reduce pollution in compliance with stringent environmental regulations.

Canon showcased their expansion into the warehouse security equipment and solutions market, capitalizing on the growing demand in this sector. This strategic move exemplifies the significance of diversification and the ability to identify emerging market opportunities.

JSW addressed the impact of unexpected events on their supply chain, emphasizing the need for risk mitigation strategies. Such occurrences have made supply chain planning and management more complex, necessitating agile responses to unforeseen disruptions.

Government Initiatives and Sustainable Practices: Distinguished guests, including the honorable Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Highways, and Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, Minister of Port and Shipping, inspired attendees with their insights and government initiatives aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency and sustainability. Shri Gadkari emphasized the utilization of ethanol and electric vehicles as a means to reduce logistical costs and the environmental impact of supply chains.


By adopting cleaner fuels, like ethanol, and promoting electric vehicles, Gujarat can improve air quality and decrease greenhouse gas emissions. Furthermore, Shri Gadkari highlighted the exploration of waterways as a cost-effective mode of transportation. Leveraging rivers and canals can provide an alternative to traditional transportation methods, leading to reduced costs and alleviating congestion on roadways.
